Target: Store coupon vs. Manufacturer Coupon

So there’s been a LOT of confusion now that Target has started inter-mixing manufacturer coupons with their store coupons, and until recently, there has been little understanding (purposely btw) of which is which from merely looking at them. As such, many have been wasting paper and ink on coupons they can’t use.

I was not able to print from the Publix list things that where checked off :/

    1. Do you mean that you weren’t able to print coupons off? If this is your first time printing coupons, a couple things to note:

a.) All the coupon printing sites require installation of a small piece of software. Make sure you’re on a computer that allows you to install software
b.) Sometimes the install “pops up” a window for notice of installation – if you’re running a popup blocker, it may not be able to be seen.
c.) Try another browser as some sites aren’t friendly with some browsers. Another new reader found that firefox didn’t work, but when he printed using IE, it worked perfectly fine.

Give it a shot and let me know.

      Thanks,
      Shawn

Most of the Publix stores I go to only let us use one $5 off coupon for a certain amt (when you spend $30, $40, or $50) per transaction and we have to split our purchase if we want to use more than one. Have you had that problem? What do you suggest? Also when I saw your piece on Local 6 were you using an iPad? Can you show us a sample of how you set it up your database or if you have a link to it on your website? Thanks a lot!

    1. The use of multiple is a store-by-store decision. The several stores that I’ve been in would rather expedite the checkout process by allowing multiple of the “dollar off” (obviously as long as the amount is correct – i.e. two $5/$30 if your pre coupon is $60, etc.).

One feature I’m thinking about putting together is something that will do the breakout to the coupon, so if you have $120 in retail (pre coupon) that it will tell you the exact best “split” to use the least amount of cash possible – it’s just finding time to do all that…but it is in the works.

On my iPad, it was a basic Numbers file (or .xls in MS-land) that I used to ensure that I’m hitting the $30 multiple and trying to get as close to $0.00 as possible (for my “couponing outings”). I’d like to finalize that and throw it online as well so anyone can use that as well to better prepare for savings.

Help, I can’t get any coupon printer software downloads to complete, they all say “stopped working” any suggestions?

    1. Try using a different browser. Some people have problems with certain browsers…let me know if that helps.

You have many listings where it says to use multiples of a coupon, like 5 of the Annie Chun’s. The SS website only allows me to print off two coupons. Are the barcodes specific or can I just make additional copies? Thanks!

    1. In a posting where I matchup for 5 coupons, that would be if you have access to 3 computers (or electronic print devices) so that you can print out that many coupons.

Hi, I am a first time coupon user and I am so terrified of walking in a grocery store and getting a large balance even though I have the coupons. Is there anyone from the 32708 code that could be my buddy/mentor for the 1st shopping trip?
